Laia has extensive experience in strategic consulting and corporate finance in several industrial and technological sectors. She has led and participated in a large number of operations, both buy and sell side, as well as fundraising, nationally and internationally.

She holds a degree in Economics from Pompeu Fabra University, a Master of Science in Economics from the London School of Economics and an Executive MBA from IESE Business School.

She began her professional career in the Directorate General for Economics and Financial Affairs of the European Commission in Brussels and in the European Economics Department of the College of Europe in Bruges. Afterwards, she worked as a senior consultant and Director at Ineo Corporate - Roca Junyent, where she developed a broad career in strategic advisory and corporate operations for large corporations, SMEs and startups. She is also an associate professor at the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences of the UIC.
